Weinstein-
For this chapter, I beleive that the most important thing I could take away from it was how important it is to create an enviroment that is comfortable and includes respect and care for our students. While this may seem like a no brainer, I think that often times teachers cna be put to such a high standard that they forget how important it is to be relatable and even a little vulnerable to their students. This makes the environment much more comfortable and positive.
Levin and Nolan-
This chapter aligned with Weinstein Chapter 3 perfectly (at least I think) because it talked about consistency in the classroom enviroment. For example, how important it is to have rules at home and rules at school. Parents are also a large factor in the learning environment and it is important that as teachers we reach out and try to make those relationships even when others do not seem to reciporocate.
