1. I think both Mrs. Foster and Mrs. Stinson have valid points for what they want to do. I agree that using the head phones would make the drill less authentic but I beleive there are also other ways to learn what to do in a fire drill. Of course given the circumstance that there is an actual fire there will be an actual loud noise but I do not see any point in disturbing a students entire week over a fake fire.

2. I would reccomend to these two teachers to look for a way to compromise this situation. While it can be difficult to accomodate each persons views, there are other ways to teach students how to successfully carry out a fire drill.
